For Dr. Ettinger this was a typical clinic day problem list for the 16+ years he was an Attending Physician at a major metropolitan area tertiary care center children's hospital. Since the 90's Dr. Ettinger has been compiling and interpreting medical studies to keep up to date in his own practice and to teach student doctors. Since 2017 he has been delivering presentations about the plant-based diet to community groups, nurses, medical students, and doctors at local and national conferences. There is a saying in Pediatrics: "Children are not just little adults." The plant-based diet can help an adult lose weight, prevent and reverse chronic disease, and even get their mojo back, but the plant-based diet for children has different purposes.
